Construction security assurance
For sensitive builds delivered to Australian Government protective security requirements.
- Security Construction Observers (SCOs) provide security oversight through the construction phase.
- They identify and report security risks during construction, so they are fixed before handover, not found at accreditation.
- Security plans, site protocols and the training that makes them work on the ground.
- One team through the build. Site knowledge stays on site, not with the last contractor.
- Documented WHS management system and training manuals developed by SENSE for SCO delivery.
- We work alongside the head contractor and the client’s security adviser, not in place of them.
Defence and controlled sites
For sites that control who comes in, where they go and what they bring.
- Security officers for access control and movement control through the site.
- Escort of uncleared contractors and visitors, and incident response.

Security clearances
Cleared people, kept cleared.
- We sponsor and manage our own people’s clearances through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
- We manage each clearance from application to revalidation, including change of circumstances reporting.
- You do not carry the sponsorship cost, and you do not wait on a new clearance every time a person changes.
Critical infrastructure and data centres
The same standard we hold on Defence sites, for long builds and live operating sites.
- Security for long builds and operating sites, including data centres, with the same clearance standard we bring to Defence work.
- Security Construction Observers through the build, and security officers once the site is running.
- Physical and personnel security that supports your critical infrastructure risk management program under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI Act).
Building local capability
On long builds, we can pair local people with experienced officers, train them to the site standard and sign off competence before anyone works alone. It helps you meet local employment and community commitments. We offer this where a client wants it.
